After World War 2 there was no way that Great Britain could rule half of the world because of the severe damage to the economy, military and administration. The British had already decided to leave Indian Subcontinent and Muslims of India were very happy to finally get independence from British rule. Indian Hindus on the other hand were making friends with British officials in east India. It has always been the history of Hindus that they support whoever is in power and they did the same with British. When the partition of Indian subcontinent was to be done All India Muslim league (A Muslim representing political party which fought for the rights of Muslims in India) All India Congress and the British agreed on a partition plan. But Muslims were betrayed once again and Hindus collaborated with British and that plan was changed. The actual map of Pakistan (which was the new name for the Muslim majority parts of subcontinent) was changed at the time of partition. As Muslims were down in the number game they had live with it. The plan initially was to give all the Muslim majority areas to the Pakistan and all others to India but last minute changes led to a war in 1948. 15th August 1947 was tge date that British left India and two independent states came into being.

During the partition millions of people migrated from different parts of India to Pakistan. On their way they had to face barbaric Hindus and Sikhs who were killing innocent Muslims without any reason. There were some nice ones too because they lived together for centuries but now they had to leave their hometowns just to make sure that they remain in a Muslim majority area so that they can have full independence of Religious and social acts.

It was one of the biggest migration of the mankind. From 1947 to 1952 more than 10 Million muslims crossed the border of India into Pakistan. At that time the partition looked unnatural because they lived together for centuries. But the time proved it that it was inevitable and these two countries have fought 3 wars since then.
