Learning
The term learning refers to organizing, shaping and strengthening the brain. It is the effort to develop the memory section of the brain in such a way that it becomes able to store knowledge in it.

There are a lot of similarities between the humans and machines. Right from our birth we are learning through our experiences and program them into a network of nerve connections.

Human brain serves as an engine in the human learning machine. There are billions and billions of nerve cells packed into the three layers of complex tissues of the skull that are involved in making connections with others just like the nuts and bolts of the machine.

The process of learning takes place when our skills, values, wisdom, understanding, and knowledge is gained and increases with the passage of time. When the goals of education and experience are achieved, learning takes place. The process of learning ranges from simple to complex activities in different animal species for example the classical conditioning and habituation is found in animals, while the relatively intelligent species involve in complex activities like play.

Learning is a natural process in children, as they learn at every moment of their childhood. Research has proved that the pre natal child at the age of 32 weeks has a developed central nervous system which enables him to learn at the very early stage of his development.

We can describe learning as a differential equation of mathematics with respect to time, or change in knowledge in time as a result of variable or constant factors like motivation, resistance, previous knowledge etc. Therefore if any one of these factors is missing or is not according to the requirement learning can not take place or it will be a negative learning which can result in the decrease of knowledge with the passage of time.

These days learning is much related to the skills as only knowledge is not considered enough for this process. Unless you acquire and practice a skill you can not learn.
