Power Failure
by A.H.K on 4/13/2009 in Technology » Electronics
Have you ever heard of the word “power failure”? Yeah it is a part of this world. Power failure of electricity is very common among the third world countries. Countries that are famous for electricity shortage include India, Pakistan, Srilanka and all other countries that are included in south Asia.

Supply electricity to urban and rural areas is one thing, but providing the connection for electricity and then facing the shortage of production of electricity is another issue. This is a case of “lack of planning” and making decisions before thinking of the future.

Politicians of these countries are blamed for all these cases, since they are who are responsible for the whole planning from the start of the project to the point of highest efficiency of their project. In these countries political situation is also not stable since every new Politian declines the previous projects that were started by the former minister.

Authorities who deal with these sorts of problems usually blame the power generating companies since they feel that they lack the resources and just provide connection throughout the country blindly.

In the countries like Pakistan and India, who are atomic power of the world, can easily produce electricity from their sources of uranium but according to a treaty they are not eligible to produce electricity from uranium, though some countries of the world are producing electricity by this method to reach the needs of power consumption.

According to a recent survey America is producing 45% of its power by means of using coal. But it is quite obvious for small counties to lack the methods that America has for its power generation.

In order to make countries to reach what they need, united nation must take a step ahead. But in any other way the future for these countries who can produce electricity of their own but don’t have permeation to use such recourses is looking quite dark.
