Ever since the life began on this earth, violence has been around. As it has been around for ages, there is one place where parents can’t think of finding violence and that place is termed as school. They send their children to schools without worries or fear of violence. Well sometimes back, like two centuries ago, schools were thought to be very safe. But unfortunately, at present time, parents may have a legitimate cause to worry about their child's well being. The first thing that comes into their mind, as being a Parent is that whether their children are getting good education from prestigious institutes?

But what I’m going to discuss here is if uniforms in the institutes play an important role to eliminate the violence within the institutes or not. Many parents find school helpful in preventing school violence in the classrooms. Usage of school uniforms showed a remarkable decline in school violence. It not only improved the student’s academic environment but it also gave an average student the confidence to concentrate on the studies solely.

Uniform plays an important role in defusing school violence. It virtually disintegrates potentially dangerous interaction among students. In many cases, it was found that most of the victims of school violence unsuspected and invulnerable students unknowingly wore gang-colors (gang affiliated clothes) to school. If uniforms were mandated in those institutes, such cases could not have taken place and would have brought end to school students being taken, mistakenly for members of the rival gangs and being shot dead.

It has been noticed by the school officials that implementation of uniform has decreased the number of students bringing weapons to school by 50%. It has made students to feel safe in their institutes as well as it has dried the fields of jealousy which was caused due to racial or ethnic tension.
